Journey to your heart’s truth

If you decide to travel on your journey, remember that the road ahead isn’t always paved, or even visible.

If you find yourself on such a road, that’s often a good sign. The road you are trying to find hasn’t been created yet, and it won’t be until you do it yourself. The route you need to take won’t always be obvious to you. Often there isn’t even a map. The road you find may not have any markings on it. You can travel for what feels like many miles without a clue as to where you actually are.

Still, there are sign posts along the way. You get to learn how to read the signs, and to define them for yourself. You can ask for help in your travels, if you want it. However, nobody else can take this journey for you, or do the work you need to do here.

Many people are afraid of stepping onto the path.

They are afraid of the unknown, and feel foolish taking chances when so much in life has already been discovered. ‘Why bother?’ they ask. ‘It’s been done already; there are so many others out there doing it, I’m no good at it anyway’…. and so go the excuses. They might even try to convince you that it’s a fool’s journey.

You will want to pack Faith for this journey. Trust and Surrender are two of your best friends now, so bring them with as well. Try to remember your senses of adventure, fun, and amusement. These will make the trip a lot easier for you. However, your single most important tool to bring with you is your own Truth.

It is a sparkling gemstone, different from that of anyone else. Your truth doesn’t belong to the others, it is yours alone. Don’t fool yourself in thinking others will get it or that they need to have it for theirs too. Again, it is just yours, and it is how you will find your way home, to yourself.
